Smooches for Pooches Professional Pet Care offers a variety of services to help the everyday pet owner. These services include but are not limited to:
FREE! New Customer Consultation (30-60 Minutes)
At this visit we complete the necessary paperwork, answer questions, transfer keys, and tour your home while discussing detailed instructions on how to care for your pets. This required meeting will be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to service (emergency situations may be accommodated).
There are several types of pet sitting visits available to accommodate every pet and every budget. Please see below for a variety of options. The price quoted over the phone prior to the New Customer Consultation may be modified once all the information has been gathered at the consultation.
Pet Sitting
We offer the very best at in home pet care. Our customized services cater to your pets existing schedule and decreases the stress of staying some place foreign. Additionally, keeping your pet's home while you are away is the only way to eliminate the stress and dangers associated with kennels and doggy day/overnight camps. We do drop in visits for more independent pets and overnight care for pets that require more attention.
Pet sitting visits are customized to each individual clients needs and include the following services as appropriate: a neighborhood walk or potty break in the yard depending on your preference, feeding per your detailed instructions (especially for those pets on special diets) and fresh water, play time, litter box maintenance, medication administration (as needed), and house sitting services including bringing in the mail/newspaper, rotating blinds/lights, handling trash cans on trash days, watering plants, etc. If there is something else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask!
All Pet Sitting visits listed below come with 2 valuable features included with your regular fee!
1. Each day a “Daily Checklist” will be completed detailing all the services provided during the visit. At the end of your trip a “Smooches for Pooches Report Card” is completed with all the details you should know about while you were away!
2. Depending on your preferences, you will be contacted on a schedule you decide to be assured that all is going well during your trip. Some pet parents take a more hands off approach about being contacted while others prefer more regular updates. We will customize our services to meet your needs! Contacts may be made by phone, email or text, also based on your preferences!
Rates: 20-30 mins = $22
50-60 mins = $34
Overnight Care
Starting price per night (12 hours) for 1 dog or up to 2 cats (does not include additional day time visits) is $65. Day time drop in visit added to overnight service (20-30 min.) is $20.
Dog Walking
We offer daily dog walking services for working professionals as well as occasional walks for days when you are planning on being away for an extended period of time. Smooches for Pooches Pet Care NEVER pack walks with dogs from multiple homes for the safety of your dog. Your dog will always be the center of attention!
Rates: 20-30 mins = $22
50-60 mins = $34
**Discounted rates are offered for 3 walks or more a week.
House Sitting
Don't have pets but need a trusted professional to keep an eye on your house while you are away?
Our professional house sitting service includes bringing in the mail and newspaper, watering the plants, and rotating the lights for a "lived in look" while you are away. We can customize this service to include other additional items you might also need taken care of while you are gone.

Medication Administration and Training
Have you been to the vet and your pet has been prescribed medications that you are finding difficult to administer?
This is a very unique service that Smooches for Pooches Pet Care offers and is hard to find! Owner and Operator, Jessica, has extensive experience working with sick animals. She specializes in medication administration including insulin injections and sub-cutaneous fluids. Smooches for Pooches Professional Pet Care will come to your home and work with you to build confidence and train you in techniques to make giving medications a stress free experience. If you prefer to let Jessica handle the medication for you for the duration of your pets illness, discounted rates are available.
Initial Assessment and Training $35 | Follow-up visits starting at $20 (negotiable depending on the needs of the situation)
Pet Transportation
Do you need someone to bring your pet to the vet or groomer?
Our pet transportation service can bring your pet to the vet or groomer. We will safely get your pet where they need to go including your wedding! Would you love to have your pooch make an appearance at your special day? We can work with you to make that happen. We can also transport your pup to and from doggy day care!
Transportation service begins at $30.
Additional Considerations
“Early Bird” or “Night Owl” service is offered at an additional rate of $5.00 per visit for visits before 8:00am and after 7:00pm.
“Puppy Poo Poo Patrol” is provided to any client with an un-potty trained puppy! An additional $5 per visit covers all the additional messy clean-up while you are away.

Policies
Provided are a few of Smooches for Pooches Pet Care policies. All of our policies will be provided in the Legal Considerations and Veterinary Release forms,
Contract & Release
Smooches for Pooches Pet Care Veterinary Release form and Contract must be signed and on file with Smooches for Pooches BEFORE initial service. Failure to provide signed contract and veterinary release can result in cancellation of service at any time.
Keys
2 sets of keys must be available at time of initial Complimentary Orientation meeting. Keys will be kept on file by Smooches for Pooches Pet Care in a secure location for future service unless otherwise indicated by client. Keys will be returned without charge if requested but client will incur a $15 key pick up fee when future services are rendered.
Holidays
There is a 20 % fee added to all services that occur during the following dates:
Thanksgiving (11/21-12/3)
Christmas (12/20-12/27)
New Years (12/28-1/3)
Business Hours
Normal hours for scheduled walks are 8am-7pm Monday through Sunday. Any walks scheduled outside this time frame will incur an additional $5 fee (overnight clients excluded).
Last Minute Requests/Changes
Any new requests or changes to the service you have scheduled made less than 24 hours in advance of that service will incur an additional $5 request/change fee. Any walks cancelled less than 24 from service will be charged the normal rate.
Miscellaneous
All pets must be under their current human ownership for atleast 1 month for any pet sitting service (not uncluding dog walking).
